Brakes
I noticed the last few times I took my car out, when I brake to a stop it sort of tugs and there's a slight shimmy. Could I have a warped rotor? Or maybe they just need to be shaved? Just asking, because they look fine to me...but then again I'm not a mechanic.

Could most likely be a rotor not being true anymore. Does the steering wheel shake when you apply the brakes? How about the brake pedal itself?

The pedal and steering wheel don't shake....which is why I'm curious because I know that's a typical sign of a worn rotor.

So the vibration is in the floor/body/seat, not the steering wheel? That normally means rear brakes....

I'd say it's in the body...but it tugs more than vibrates. When looking at the rotors, the fronts are smoother, and the rears have groves in them.

It's hard to visually check rotors unless they are grinding - and grooved does not sound good.
Does it pull to one side? Noise?

When I apply the brakes it jerks forward, meaning it doesn't come to an easy, gradual stop. It will hesitate to a stop.

just give it a full brake job, front and rear, and see if its fixed. if the rears have grooves already, then they need a changing anyway.

Maybe take it to a decent shop for review & estimate. You don’t have to have them do anything, just get an estimate & say “OK, I’ll get back to you”.

Report back. I'm kind of thinking from this brief exchange you have rear brake issues, perhaps even a bad caliper or slide.

Update
I dropped the Firehawk off this morning before work. The car was ready when I got home so I picked it up, but my mechanic had already left for the day so I didn't get to talk to him yet.
He wrote on the invoice that he cut the 2 front rotors. But he also wrote "R+R Rotors." Anyone know what he meant by "R+R?" Perhaps just removed and replaced? I'm gonna call him tomorrow anyway just get a rundown of what he did.

its a term for taking the part off and puting it back on - R&R= plus the cutting in your case labor to remove and re install -- jz
