Should be a fun combo, very similar to my setup only I have stock 243's, slightly smaller cam, stock lifters and injectors. Dont have dyno numbers just timeslips

I didnt need a new cam plate and gasket, but I had issues with oil pressure after install...I pulled the cover and found that the cam plate bolts were slightly backed out. Just take care to torque the bolts properly and use loctite.
Its probably a good idea to get a new one, just may not be necessary.

if i can pick one up at gm before i do the install in a few weeks i will. Or if i can order one with out paying 25-30 shipping
but since i am on a very tight time restraint i should probably just get one

Those are the replacement for SVO red tops, Ford replaced the red tops and green tops with red and green skinny injectors. I know you said your having it tuned by SSP but for those doing their own work the flow is similar to the older injectors but from what I understand they tune slightly different. I had a buddy swap out green top svo's for a new set of green skinny svo's without changing the tune and it went very lean (mid 10 second car lost 1/2 second). We havent retuned it yet so I dont know where they are different, he just swapped back to the old green tops and all went back to normal.
