				Early Christmas!!

w00t!! Yesterday, I got a letter from my Grandfather that lives in Italy. He said that he is going to give up his 2 cars to my brother and I. One car is a 80's Bronco, and the other is a very prime, low milage 72 Camaro. I think my brother is gunna take the Camaro, while I get the Bronco. My grandfather has traversed the US several hundred times with this car. Its got over 300k miles on the clock, and that was back in 1998 when I last saw it. Its in storage in Wyoming. The Camaro is in storage in York, PA. The Camaro was my Grandfathers car in Italy. He loves American cars. He brought a 59 Impala over to Italy, and use to tell me about teh stories how the car used to be so big, it took up the entire street. Wish he had that car still....but the Camaro will do.
Another present came today. My father calls up asking me if I had a package deliverd to my dad's appt. When I got to his house, I opened the box and there was my lost state championship ring!! It was stolen from my dads car in the city. My dad had reorderd it for Christmas, but I guess he didnt know it came in my name, not his.

Anyway, two big things that have made me feel a little bit better of this so far depressing few weeks. I cant wait!

my brother doesnt have enough money, nor interest in cars to keep both. If he does keep teh Camaro, I say he wraps it around a poll very quickly. It would be very scary to see that. If he keeps it, it will give me reason to clean out the other side of teh garage.

Is the 72 an SS big block car? If it is, you better make sure nothing bad happens to it or you will go to automotive hell!

I dont have a choice really. Â*My brother got dibs on it, but after tonights "entertainment",I dont think he is gunna be able to hold on to his car now, much less another car. Â*
I dont know what the Camaro has in it. Â*Last time I saw it was in 1998, and I wasnt much of a car guy outside of knowing what a Camaro was, and that there was a red one in the garage, and now this one. Â*My father says that my grandfather only gets V8's in his car, but I dont remember it being a Z28 or a SS. Â*It is probably a V8 base model with teh 307.

As for the Bronco, it might have a lot of miles on it, but im sure its far from clapped out. My grandfather is super meticulous with all his cars. I remembe rthe 72 being in awesome shape. Never saw the Bronco, but its in Wyoming righ now. He is going one more time around teh US in it, and then he is going to give it up.
