Anyone have SLP loudmouth on LS1?
Does anyone have an SLP loudmouth exhaust on an LS1 F-Bod? I was thinking of getting it but I want to hear it before I spew the $350+. I heard it on an LT4 - sounds good, but I was told the LS1 was more "raspy". Would like to meet up with someone with that combo. Can anyone oblidge?

Who doesnt have an SLP LoudMouth on their LS1 F-body
I might have told you about the Raspy'ness when we went out for that photo-shoot. Its a neet exhaust tone, but I just think ALOT of people have that exhaust and it gets old.
Ask Steve; 1RawTA, his sounds real good, but he also has Headers
(not sure how much it changes the sound though)

I have one on mine and it doesn't get raspy at all under normal driving infact it sounds pretty deep. However if you really get on it its gets loud with a litte rasp. I'll probably be at the Feb meet if you wanna hear it...

it's not called the Loudmouth for nothing.....it's VERY loud! you can search for exhaust sound clips online, there's plenty to find.

I LOVE it. I got mine put on 2 days after i bought my car and haven't looked back. I would make a sound clip but its in storage until March. All of my friends agree that it sounds amazing especially when u downshift and hit it. From the interior I didn't think it was that loud, but all my friends kept telling me it was obnoxious, so i let a friend drive the car around - man was i suprised how loud it was.
Paid 410 for mine shipped by far a excellent deal.

You plan on getting headers?? Cam??
It is loud with headers, but it sounds good. Once I cam'd my car, it plain out didn't sound good anymore.

No I'm not going by sound clips. I want to hear it in person. I eventually want to put headers on but I don't think I'll go as far as to CAM the engine. I'm going stick with bolt one.
I definitely need to hear the exhaust. Remember, I want a nice sound, but I still want to be able to hear my ****** Monsoon radio with the top down at highway speeds.
...and yes, I got the wind screen, but at WOT, you can still hear the STOCK exhaust pretty damn loud.
If anybody is set up and can spare 5 minutes to meet me, let me know. I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks all for your comments/feedback - much appreciated!

You should swing by at the TTP dyno day. Garuntee'd you'll here at least 1 LS1 f-body with a Loud Mouth, plus you can hear it at WOT.

im gunna hafta re-recommend magnaflow...its got a real nice idle and is throaty and deep...but not annoying...especially with a convertible that likes music...go with the magnaflow, not loudmouth...you'll be dissapointed w/ the loudmouth
p.s. i use way to many ...
