Looks like Boon and James are gunna be really busy soon...

Carmaker concerned about voltage regulators, battery control, brake systems.
March 31, 2005: 9:21 AM EST

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - U.S.-German carmaker DaimlerChrysler is recalling 1.3 million Mercedes cars as it tries to fix quality woes that are riddling its German luxury car division, it said Thursday.

Mercedes will recall the cars in several model ranges worldwide to fix problems with alternators and batteries, which do not affect the cars' safety, according to the supplier, car-parts maker Robert Bosch.

Mercedes chief Eckhard Cordes, who said earlier this year that his drive to resolve the quality problems would hit this year's earnings, said the cars Mercedes makes now are of high quality and that the recall addressed legacy problems.

I saw chrysler in there and I started to get scared, thank goodness its only MB's that are getting recalled. Chrysler has enough recalls already.

Software update isnt as bad as the "recall" for the Pontiac G6's recall for the Car Manual. Apparently there was a page missing on how to strap in the child seats....

Social Networks:

I still say the funniest recall wasn't funny at all, but the name they gave it was. Remember several years ago when Ford recalled ~ 8 million cars for the ignition switch fires? The media called it "Click, Vroom, Ka-Boom"

Service campaign's aren't recalls.

Sigh....

The brake concern... is a continuation of a current recall... consider it... a further update?

How to install baby seat: Put baby in car seat; duct tape baby to car seat; duct tape car seat to any part of the vehicle (roof is best).
