vacuum line

There are vacuum lines coming off of something that sits underneath the ignition coil on the engine. one line is short, and plugs into the EGR...the other one is long, connects to the TB by a t-fitting and then goes somewhere else. I dont know where that somwehere else is...anyone have any ideas?
