New rims???

Was thinking about these rims. I've looked at a lot but the Z06's I think look the nicest - that I can afford. I like the HRE 547Rs, but they are $1k each rim. I can get 4 Z06 rims for less than $1000.

I think the rivets look awesome IMO. Any ideas? Has anyone bought a set of rims off ebay?

Well, I personally don't care for the rivets, but if you like them, then by all means don't let me stop you from buying them.

I'm not a big fan of the rivet look. If they were regular Chrome Z06 wheels I can dig that.

check out this place too
www.aaarims.com they have a nice large selection of f-body wheels.

I think you should get the new new Z06 Wheels (I think their 18's)

I know their for sale because Ive already seen them on a few cars, and I think they look pimp.

They look good,IMO..I've noticed a growing trend of dislike for Big Shiney wheels on the list..as the WWE's Hurricane would say. What's Up With That?

Later,

Santos

The 2006 Z06 rim is HAWT. But you can't touch 'em and replicas are no where in sight. I'm still teetering on the rivets or no rivets look. I always liked the rivet look but I get a mox bag of opinions from people about them.

I was asking where to buy on LS2.com and most people said TomZWheels on ebay. His prices are better - 4 rims were $900 as opposed to $270 each rim. That takes me over $1k without shipping from aaarims.

Haven't decided yet but I'm getting close. I keep seeing people banging the **** out of the inside of the wheel well to make the bigger rims fit. I'd like to avoid it but it may be unavoidable (unless I go with - - 17" wheels).

Frank, you can't go by what alot of the people are telling you,in the end it's YOU who is going to be shelling out the loot to buy the wheels and YOU who should be happy with what you like..just my opinion.. 8)

But those wheels are Bad Ass

IMO, I would do something classic ... like a nice Cragar, or American Racing rim... but on the back, something bigger so it looks a little jacked 8)
