I saw a GT40 on the road!

WOW, I don't know what to say? This car was amazing! I didn't think they went on sale yet? Anywho of course I wasn't driving the camaro, I was in my beater Jeep Cherokee He was like 2 cars in front of me, and when he turned the corner he was gone! I floored it trying to keep up, and that wasn't happening! I was trying to get him to pull over, but I guess he was too cool? It was white w/ black stripes, from florida! I just had to tell ya's!

Actually if you are talking about the new Ford, it's just the GT, not the GT40. But it's still cool that you saw one.

I took a ride thru Seaside on Monday, just to see what was going on (harkening back to my younger days, LOL) and there was a GT40 cruisin' the strip, grey in color. In front of him was an older Mustang (like 66/7?), white with red stripes and a big block that was shaking all the cars in the area. Behind him was a brand new (05 or 06?, not too good with the Fords) Mustang with the same color scheme! Makes me wonder why GM can't get it right. Just slap a different front and rear on the GTO and voila, a new Chevelle (Buick could use a new GN right about now before they go the way of Olds) and with the 'Ute' using the same platform in Australia, an ElCamino would be an easy choice. If you don't know what's offered 'down under', check out the Holden website...

Hey guys new to forum and first post and talking about great cars. If your ever in the Mantua area be on the look out. There is an Enzo Ferrari that resides there. One of my friends Dads knows the guy and I didnt believe him about it until I saw it. They look awesome on the road.

the new ford gt went on sale at teh end of the '04 model year and delivery started early in '05 to dealerships. they are sexy little cars. definately tops in all around bang for teh buck in the super car game.
ford even managed to make an exhaust for them that sounds good.
i am totally not a ford fan, but damn that is a nice car.

later
