to be totally honest, I was thinking he was guilty, and still do, BUT if you look at the history of the kid's parents, they have tried to con/extort money out of multiple celeb's including George Lopez and Chris Tucker. That was enough to put a doubt in my mind.

It only takes "reasonable doubt". If you let your kid sleep at MJ's house, you're getting exactly what you asked for.

I guarantee 100%, the same jury in the same situation, with the same judge, with a Joe Somebody instead of jacko, it would be the complete opposite. I hate MJ's music but I love to moonwalk!!!

I think I disagree. I didn't watch much of the trial or follow it at all, but from what I understand, there was enough reasonable doubt to make a jury aquit a confessed killer.

I really don't know whether he's guilty or not. If I was on that jury, and was told the family has tried to get money from every celeb that kid has come in contact with, that's enough reasonable doubt right there for me. Take out celeb, and this family has tried to get money from any number of people in any number of ways, I'd still say the defendant should be aquitted by reasonable doubt.

It comes down to the specific wording of the charges. I was the jury foreman 2 years ago and it really makes a big difference on the exact wording of things. They probably rushed the case to trial and didn't get the best charges which ended up being too hard to prove. He's guilty of something with children and parents better figure that out. I just couldn't believe the live verdict was on every channel yesterday afternoon. Good thing there's nothing going on in the rest of the world so we can sit back and watch MJ supporters waving signs and flags. At least this crap won't be on the news every single day anymore.

I don't know whether he is innocent or not, but I can see how the jury would make the choice they did just based on the prior history of this family.
