Yankees Again... it's a definite go!
Okay, tickets are a go for the 28th... 12 seats available. The list below is the ABSOLUTE list. Can everyone who's on it reply and confirm whether or not they are going, and as well, post your e-mail addy and a cell phone #? I want to put together a list for this event, this way everyone can keep in touch with everyone else.
As well. travel arrangements and/or lodging need to be worked out. It seems the general consensus is that most people don't want to stay overnight (which is just fine), but I would be down for some drinking afterwards (and I think j0n is down with that too. hehe)
Anyone not on the list as of right now, is on a first-come first-serve basis with regard to this post, however I have say on some of the spots because I'm waiting on responses from my friends if they can make it or not.
So, send a reply with your name, e-mail and # (or PM it to me if you don't want it in this thread).
Can one of the mods sticky this perhaps? I suppose this is technically an NJFBOA meet, given the # of people from here lol
~Joe
OLD POST BELOW
----------------------------------
Hey all,
I have a friend that works for the Baltimore Orioles. Recently he got me an executive suite when I was down in Baltimore 2 weeks ago, and he's extended the offer to me for an executive suite at the Yankees - Orioles game during the series at the end of June (27-29). I can get a max of 12 seats he said, so I'm working on seeing who, out of my friends wants to go. I doubt I'll have the full 12, so I'm extending the offer to my "extended" group of friends.
If anyone is interested, please let me know which date works best for you. All games start at 7:05 PM, so also figure 3 - 4 hours of driving time down to Baltimore. As well, you should plan on staying afterwards for some hardcore drinking in Baltimore that night!
PS: No gurantees I will be able to get everyone a spot.
~Joe
LIST OF INTEREST:
1. Joe
2. j0n
3. Guest of j0n
4. Santos
5. Tim (tentative)
6. Jon (FasterThanYou)
7. Kelly (ProtekYoNutz)
8. j0n's cousin
9. Justin (Tru2Chevy)
10. Karen (MyLittlePony)
11. Genie (****OnWheels)
12. Savage_Messiah
If anyone needs to get in touch with me for more info sooner, call my cell.

Put me back on the list. I'm going (assuming there's room). I'm staying at my aunt's that nite.
Anyone driving a van that'll hold all of us? My aunt has a parking pass for the hotel next to the stadium that she is willing to let me use. But I don't think it's fair I get to park for free and everyone else has to find a spot and pay. So lemme know.

Well, I know I"m the last to be met since I'll be coming from work in Philly, but I plan on driving myself since I"m staying. I may, however, be getting out of work early and heading down myself. In that case We could meet at my aunt's house, leave the cars there (if we can find enough visitor's spots, she lives in a condo complex), and take the van into the city.

I'm still good. Tim, Justin, Kelly, and the rest of the Ewing crew, who's driving if anybody? I could be the driver for 5 other people comfortably (leather seats in a new mini-van. I don't mind being a designated driver when we're down there, it's all up to you guys so let me know.

We know Kelly isn't driving. And they won't be taking Justin's car. So it's either Tim or Karen or both.

Well the Mustang will only seat 2 comfortably, and the Alero isn't much better.
I vote Jon's minivan, and claim 2 seats for Kare and I.

Ok, I know this was discussed in the other topic....but what time is everyone looking to leave? I think 4:30 was what was said in the other thread. Any chance of going earlier? I know people have work and such, just tryin to figure out what I"m doing, so that if I'm waiting in philly i can figure out where is the best place to meet (I like to plan these things ahead of time ).

i am thinking the easiest thing we can do as a group i smeet at one of the rest areas on rt95 in maryland.
i know the second one you come to going south has a fairly big parking lot. i think it i scalled maryland house. does that sound like a good place for the whole group to meet?
just have to come up with a time
later

Meeting at a rest stop is cool, but we need to make sure we meet at the same one. I actually think the first one in MD is MD House...there is one in DE that you might be thinking is the first in MD, though I could be wrong.
Now, we have to prepare for traffic and such. Game starts at 7, I'd preferably like to get to the park around 5:30 or 6, only because I probably will need to eat before passing out, and down behind the outfield is a lot of good places to get a bite. I"d also like to drive to my aunt's first if I can to pick up the parking pass, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to get into the city from her house.
If meeting at like 4 at the rest stop is too early, I can always go down on my own and meet yas at the park or something. I'm assuming no one will be riding with me since I"m staying, but like I said, I have room for one to stay with me at my aunt's.
So yeah, I would suggest a meet time of 4 at the rest stop. If it's too early, I'll meet yas at the park, I've got at least Justin and Tim's #s...assuming they'll answer when I call
edit, of course, after thinknig about it, I could always pick up something to eat at the rest stop...would make sense, wouldn't it?

Jon (FasterThanYou) is going to cruise down to Ewing at some point in the early afternoon and pick up at least Karen and I.
Tim, are you cruising down in the minivan with us? What about Kelly?

K, just talked to my aunt, and Tim was right, second rest stop in MD is Maryland house.
She mailed me her parking pass (she's on disability for a herniated disk at the moment), so I don't have to go there before hand.
So, anyone decide on a time yet? Anyone wanna meet me in philly and go to the rest stop together?
I'm willing to drive people now, too, since the brakes will be done on Monday.
