I want to join the nj air nat'l guard. what's the best way to do it....every experience ive had with recruiters makes me want to murder someone...they're friggin worse than a godamn car salesman...so what route would be benneficial for me in order of least headaches?

Come to NY if you are going guard, Stewart is great! In fact we just had a bif influx of people from Maguire up here. You pretty much can't go wrong with guard, especially if you get in a flying career field like me. If you ever want to talk over the ins and outs of active duty Vs. Guard/Reserve let me know.

Batman- you're up at Stewart? I fly in and out of there all the time. I'm also the jackass that almost landed ON one of the C-5's last spring if you heard about that

well eventually id like to become a local police officer...but id be down with just about any job in the military...flying job would be cool as hell tho...dont want to be a pilot (10years mandatory!?!?!)

basically i want to do the guard so that i can have someone pay for the majority of my college, as well as add a couple bucks here and there. also, military looks awesome on any police officer resume.
