Price for body parts?

Talking about car parts, not human.

Does anyone know how much junk yards (and the u-pull-it places) generally charge for body pieces? I'm looking to find a stock spoiler for my third gen. Someone put on this ridiculous one a few owners back. I've seen some stoick ones that look pretty good and am gauging interest.

I don't have the local u-pull-it's price list in front of me, but I bought a whole trunk lid with a spoiler on it for my Lumina and it was $20 or $25.

Thanks. I might head up to the Berlin u-pull-it in a few weeks. They always have f-bodies in.

What exactly is the "three piece" spoiler? Is that the one with two vertical supports thus dividing the gap between the airfoil and hatch into three sections? My car is an 86 Camaro.

I'm looking for something that only connects at the outer edges of the hatch area, as the current one does. Also, to minimize the amount of work I'd like to not have to do any repair as the last time I used filler was making a solar car in college a decade ago. And as I'm too cheap to have a body shop paint it now red would be nice .
If I find one i like ina different color I'd probably get it, I just won't put it on until I have a shop paint it.

Thanks!

i think what you are talking about is the original 3rd gen pedestal spoiler. i don't see too many of those around in good shape.
i have teh high rise spoiler from a 91-92 and the early z28/rs spoiler that has a lip on the hatch lid and a piece that wraps around onto each quarter panel.

My local U-pull place pulls the numbers out of the sky, usually you just offer them some rediculously low amount and say thats all they have and after arguing back and forth that thats all you have they will give it to you.

Do you still have the hi-rise for sale, and if so how much?
