Tim (NJSpeeder) is taking suggestions on the next place. If you're looking for something soon, then there's a car show in Secaucus this Thursday. Usually 4 or 5 members show up. Don't know where you're from.

Welcome to the club.
Each person has their own preferences for modifications, from go-fast parts to shiney show parts. Not everyone races, and not everyone shows. Just enjoy the vehicle you have, in whatever state you want it, while being social with a group who has a common interest.
I think the northern crew has a regular meet on Friday nights somewhere. Read through some of the older threads.

Welcome... all of us here know that v6's are better than v8's any day, but the 8 guys deny that all day (then at night, cry to their mommys, especially j0n )

welcome- new jersey is a great place for fbodies. we have 2 of the best close by. TTPerformance is in Clifton and they are mad good with our cars. As is Cartek which is a little farther south but supposedly they are very good. i have a 02 Silver Z28 with a little stuff here and there. I will challange any v6 to a race and i would probably lose. nice to have you aboard.
