Ok, as of this past Saturday, I am the ONLY full time Service Writer at my store.
I work at Sears in Ocean Twp, and I am in desperate need of some salespersons or mechanics.
If you have retail and sales experiance, or are a mechanic and would like some on the job training, we will pay to train you from oil changes and batteries to brake and suspension evaluations.
We really need sales people, cause Id like to go on vacation some time before the year is over, but cant.
This is a big reason why I had to sell my car is that im at nearly 50 hrs a week at work, and then I have school and in between then I have a social life.
You have to be over 18 years old, and like cars. My one other salesman is in it for the paycheck, and doesnt understand what he is selling, why he is selling it, he just knows that every 2 weeks hes getting paid.
The job is commision based, so the better the salesman and the harder you work, the more money you make. Ive had tire and battery guys make 600 bucks in just commsion, not including thier base pay.
You have 90 days to prove yourself, or you are out.
If you dont like to be yelled, cursed, harrassed, and/or spit on, then this aint the job for you. It can be a fun job, and I would love to have a few guys that work with me actualy be into cars. Im willing to give anyone a chance, but dont **** me over. If you are serious, you can email me, PM me, or call my store.

btw, if you just want a job at Sears, there is a great chance that I can get you one at another store. Please let me know, and I will pull as many strings as I possibly can. The DM's office is upstairs of my job, so I have his ear at all times. Let me know.

what kind of pay could i look at? and would this extend to the rt. 1 sears>?

base pay is 6.50 an hour, and you get paid per item you sell from valve stems to brake drums.

I dont get paid nearly as high as our best Salesperson, and I make 17 an hour. You could make more or less depending on the store. My store is a middle class store, but some other stores like Wayne(Willobrook) and Wachung, they are MEGA dollar stores. As well as Toms River and Freehold.

**** kid, you can easily make that. Â*6.50 is just the base pay. Â*You get commission after. Â*I get paid 17 an hour and Im not highest paid salesman.

al...yeah see what u can do about a job at the sear by willowbrook...tell whoever u talk to that i have 1 1/2 years experience at strauss, both as a sales associate and installer(but i would like to be a sales associate)...and you can mention i was the leading tire seller when i worked inside the store...

and everytime i ran service i almost always hit or quota for the day
