I got a Harlan shift light, works great and easy to install.

Like Bill said, usally just power ground tach wire, done.

I have a Pro-Form, and the instructions sucked! Its still sitting in the box. All it says is what color wire goes to what, but no explenation to where to accuretly find the right wires!

Just pick make and model, and you will get detailed instructions with pics.
Took me maybe 30-40 min. The directions are great.

Here are the instructions for the Harlan shiftlight. It's the same basic idea and has the wiring instructions that you're looking for, specifically which wire to tap for the tach signal at the computer.

how off is the tach on ls1?

set the raptor shift light to 6100 rpms, how off is the tach on the ls1 usually?
