ordered me a new truck on friday

ordered a new 06 silverado 3500 DRW 4x4 turbo diesel. its the newer diesel with more hp and even more torque. got a sunroof, bose stereo, and some other neat little things. i did this because these get more gas mileage then my current 8.1 gas motor

the truck isnt for performance, its for towing my car trailer. i want more performance and the bully dog system will be just fine. i dont want to get into ripping open a brand new trans and all for upgrades on it to hold up.

Those trucks are just sick. They leave such thick black smoke after they run its hard to see the trap numbers!

i was looking to buy a newer truck -BUT, got permently layed off last tuesday, i have a 2003, 2500hd,4x4, ext.cab, 6.0L, works great, was just wondering, its hard to find a good pulling truck with the 8100 in it.JR1. so when is the next time your going to the track.my belts run out in Oct., motor needs to come out, painting the car this year, adding a glide, mite buy new heads that flow more for a 23*, lose some weight in the car, redo the wiring, adding a Digital 6 Igition box, BECAUSE i got's all kinds of time on my hands. JR1.

The truck already has 650ftlbs stock, class leading by the way...
Duramax is KING!!
IMO, should have waited for the new pick ups coming in the spring. New chassis.
Did you get the 6spd Allision trans as well?
