ATCO tonight

jon (badchevelle aka big johnson) and i will be there with a couple of his buddies. look for the LS1 camaro with salad shooters. thats us. jon and i will both be taking stabs at the camaro for the hell of it. its my first time running so i'm aiming for 13.5. ok now off to my exam. peace out!!

i am going also, trying to get this new carb on and tuned, haveing some issues with it now that i opened it up to change the jets. but either way i should be either with the new carb hopefully or the little one. just motor passes tonight though

damn, thats fast! get that 60' down to the 2.0-1.9 area and hello 12's. Jake, does your car have an LS6 block? I know a lot of the 02's got the LS6 block because there were a few left overs. just curious.

Oh yeah, what mods do you have anyway? I know you have the shifter, but what else?

he's got the stock hurst, clear airlid, and a magnaflow catback...running salad shooters with bald traction tas out back and the heavy ass 19s up front...and he did trap 110 on a 13.3 run later on

yeah that car boogies! damn track was cold as **** and the tires would grab worth crap. jon aka badchevelle took my car down the track and ran similar times. my 60' is whats killing me (my best was a 2.174). if i can get a sunny day with higher temps and more practice i can cut that 60' to ~2.0 or so and according to one of jon's buddies that should bring me well in the 12s.

it was a good night tonight, i ran the new carb first pass i thought it sucked cuased this import next to me was hanging pretty close, then i get my time slip it ran a 11.9. a little quit black acura with rims. i was surprised. my car is where it should be with the new carb, was looking for a tenth or two faster, oh well ran its best et all motor 3 times in a row. i think it has a little left in it though. badchevelle, i tried to catch up with you guys later on, but never worked out being in the different lanes.

Yeah after Jake made his last past we sat for a good hour and fifteen minutes before I could make a run. The track temp dropped drasticly (SP?) and I couldnt get any traction. I cut a 2.14 60' however as soon as second gear hit the tires spun. Third gear the spun too. On my last pass I hooked first and second but lost traction bad enough for me to get out of it in fourth and went 13.5 It was a good time, but I want another run when I can get some good weather and traction. 13.2 @ 110 is insane Jake! We need to get some drag radials on there and go from there. If we can hook better you will see 12's real soon! That car is a monster!

thats awsome. it feels good when your predicting a ET and first pass ever beat it. the temp was dropping so quickley i had to keep putting air in my tires after every pass.

I was actually there also with my 2 friends(one being my roommate). We were there to watch my friend in the black LS1 T/A with the SLP ram air hood run some cam times. It pretty much sucked since his trans only let him start off in second. He pulled off a 13.3 @ 114(A4, 226 cam, 3.73s, cut-out, headers, lid, maf, TB). My roommate and I rode up in his car. You guys might have seen it. The MBM WS6 with the hood popped showing off his polished procharger lol. He didn't run. I had a blast. 8)

LOL nice. He put down 430 at the wheels, but only hits 12.1 @ 113 so far since he wasn't used to the clutch he had put in. He also was on DRs and still has the stock 10 bolt. I keep telling him to by a 12 bolt and LS6 intake already
