ok im the one that sold the 67 firebirds. The ******* thatr bought it put it back on e bay. All he did was clean it up n he is getting madd money for it. He said on the ebay page that it has a clean nj title. n that hes selling it for a "friend". So i dont think he signed the title so my step fathers name is on it n he didnt transfer anything over. Wow justr found the el camino too on it. This mother ****er. Anbyone kno ifr a can do anything about this? bcuz oviously him selling it for a friend which name is my step father's (which is not his friend). Is there anything i casn do like get the car back myb cuz he selling as if he were me n my step pos? Please feedback please i love this car n i never should of sold it.

ummm...why does he have the car in his posession if the title is still in your stepfathers name? i dont think he can transfer the title to anyone else if it isnt in his name to begin with.

if your stepfather signed and dated it he only has something like 10 business days to have it retitled... other then that... he can sell the car within those 10 days(thats if ur stepdad dated it) without putting the title in his name at all... sry... my dad used to do something like that when he was a kid. buy a car. spend like 2 days fixing it up then sell it for much more then he got it for.

oh and if ur stepdad didnt date the title and just signed it.. then he has an unlimited amout of time, but technically your stepdads not responsible for the car because he signed it. im not sure theres any way to get the car back. unfortunatelly... altho when i see my dad today ill ask him. he knows more about titling then i do.

it all depends. if you signed the "seller" line and he didn't sign the "buyer" line then the title is fair game. he can pass it along to anyone he wants.
what do you care what he does with it, you already sold it. go hunt for another first gen to make into a great ride.

i found the auction and he really cleaned it up....maybe u shoulda cleaned it up and popped it up on ebay n made "madd money". if i had an extra grand or so i woulda bought it and done the same thing. good luck finind another 1st gen in any condition for the price u let the bird go for. my dad bought his 67 2 years ago fully restored for 14k

Well, check the auction history. The guy that's the current high bidder has -1 feedback and bid like 8 times on it already to jack the price up. Looks like a good scam!

well if u ask me he looks totally legit...look at his other auctions and it appears as tho he took care of the guy with -1 feedback and the price dropped

While I agree that the way he's describing the fact that he's selling the car for a friend is a bit low, I don't think it's illegal.

I can't really blame the guy for re-selling it, he did a nice job cleaning the car and taking good pics.

yea. he got rid of the redy2sell2u guy so im happy now. honestly that car was done. had a crack in the foor from the trunk all the way to the firewall. couldnt tell with the interior put together so no one would no unless they took it apart. Its alright. My step pops felt bad for me so he decided to make his 49 ford anglia a joint projest to get it running with me n it become my car at the end. So im not that down ne more about it. Cuz my fav. firebirds are the first gens and fourth gens. I do like third gens but i would want it metallic bluse with white frost rockers and need to be perfect condition.
