This could get ugly....

as of late...ive been searching the tex and local classifieds looking for a Mk2 v-dub...i hate driving the TA in anything but great weather and during the winter no way in hell am i gonna use it to get to home from school...so ive been thinkin, if i find another beater like my old jetta i could put the bump bump in it, buy some 17's, spray paint it like i had intended before, and beat the hell out of it for a couple months then set it on fire or something ...but finding a 2 door mk2 jetta for cheap has been more difficult than i expected

just get some snow tires for your t/a and throw some sand in the rear. Won't have a problem.

craig, its not the snow that worries me that much, its ice..no snow tires or amount of sand in the world will save me from ice, thats what ****ed up my car before and i just dont want it to happen again...another thing is i just dont trust other people driving in snow, ive walked in the door uneasy too many times in the winter to put my baby at risk again

get a cheap civic or another cheap car... i went to school at UTI for a year straight through last year and as soon as november rolled around i knew i had to get a beater, becuase i was cranking a ton of miles on the T/A and with the upcoming winter i knew it wasnt going to be good. so i found a 91 thunderbird for 1500 bucks, the car only had 75,000 miles and ran well.(also owned by a 70 year old lady). so i bought it, drove it all winter and in the last 11months i have thrown 15k miles on it.

You mean he's killed 2 of them already? Â*My brother killed a POS Golf. Â*I've never seen a good VW though. Â*Guys from work had nothing but problems with em.
