i dont think so. i dont think he's gonna gain a half-second from that. my opinion though, why not race him and see how it goes?

i think he'll pick up a half second...boxed LCAs and drag radials plus cooler weather....he should have me beat. the bullet in place of the cat - if you ask me, you were probably already out-flowing the engine with a high flow 3" cat so i dont think thatll make a difference. hes also doing more weight reduction than last time...why bother taking out the bumper though?

100 lbs == .10 second in the 1/4. every little bit counts.

since my 15.3 run...ive changed intakes (went from open underhood cone to stock airbox, gutted...ill be running with no filter), spacers in the rear springs to stiffen the rear suspension, new tires (just Ecsta ASX's, all season tires...) and i removed the weatherstripping along the top of my hood to let heat out.
weather when i ran was probably around 70 degrees...maybe 75ish, it was at night

get a good launch and you got him. i think DRs are overkill for a v6 auto without a stall.

This should be interesting. I think I'm gonna run my IROC and see what it does, though my tires are bald as hell so I may put the stockers on the rear. But of course this all depends on if I get my fans to work Â* Â* stupid electric

this should be a good race.
although slicks and skinnies + hard launches on a stock rear = possibly breaking an axle or destroying some teeth
Little G should chime in, that car is the all mighty stock motor v6.

i dont think he'll break it....its an auto, and i think he has some stupidly low stall converter in it, so he cant really launch it that hard...I on the other hand can stall it up to 3000 and as long as i roll into the throttle from there, i dont spin.

heres my take on things...its been a run whatcha brung race since the beginning. So who cares who does what to their cars?
Alex-Stay out of it...youve got one of the slowest v8 cars & arent a very good driver anyway so please
Matt-thee #1 cheapest SOB EVAR! if he looses consider it because of his ubercheapness
Kasey-do whatever you deem necessary to win & well he has...can you fault him for that?
As far as I know theres no money on this race, only bragging rights so everyone needs to just everything that was said & done at this point was more then fair In my eyes...its racing guys.

FWIW Kasey ran that 15.7 at the East Coast Nats - and Little G's car was ~.4 tenths slower than usual on that day due mostly to the ****** air. So figure Kasey could have been running a 15.3 or 15.4 on that day if the air was good. Now add in the LCAs, more weight reduction, bullet muffler, and skinnies/DRs....I'd wouldn't be too surprised to see a 15.0 (or better) from Kasey if all goes well....
But I guess we will see what happens on Sunday

so and go to the track to shut us up...you've had all summer to go more then once...besides saying you suck once is too many times in my eyes. Practice makes perfect guys, not sitting on your ass complaining about well I've only been to the track once cut me some slack
