Northern NJ Guy saying Hi!
Well, after months and months of two of my friends telling me to join this site, I finally gave in and listened to them.
My name is Mike, i JUST bought a house in Washington, NJ, about 15 minutes from where ive grown up in Hackettstown, NJ. (RIGHT next to Island dragway, my home track that ive grown up around ). There will be a few meets/barbecues/parties at my new place come spring/summer, so im sure ill be seeing some of you. Im 23, and about to finish my MBA at Centenary College, in Hackettstown. I am a Specialist for the US Department of Defense, and currently work out of Picatinny Arsenal NJ (although I am stationed elsewhere a few times a year). I have the best and most beautiful gf in the world, who can usually be seen in my passenger seat. I was sent here by my hottest friend in the whole world, Melissa (79camarodiva) who is one of my best friends (and secret gf ), and who i have grown up with. She and I go WAAYYY back, and have known each other since we were little kids, way back when she was kicking asss in the junior dragsters!! .and Jason (i *think his SN is jlcLT12003) who is another one of my best friends, and who is currently almost living at my house, lol. Him and I hang out almost every night, so we are usually seen cruising with each other as well.
Some of you may know me on Fbody.com under the SN LightningquickLS1, or on LS1tech.com under this name. I was actually asked to join this board by two guys at the track when it was FIRST starting up (so i should have been here from the beginning), but I never got around to it. Im assuming they are admins or mods here now?, but I cant remember there names so Im not sure who they are..(if you see this, sorry for not joining sooner guys! )
I currently drive a 99' Trans Am M6, with too many mods to list. She put down 440RWHP/404RWTQ this past Spring at the Vette Doctors in Long Island, NY, and will be putting down even more this Spring when i spray a 150 shot. For anyone that has seen me cruising in NJ, the car is red, LOUD , lowered, with dark tinted windows, silver metallic Blackbird stripes, and chrome 18x9.5 ZO6 rims (although I am known to change wheels like I do clothes, lol). The spray is on the DL around my town though, so we will see what happens when its unveiled. Car was only ran two times since my major mods and tuning were done, in the middle of July in 100 degree heat and high humidity. Running it for the first time int he middle of the summer was a mistake, but she pulled a 12.3 at 116 while spinning alllllllll the way down the track (1.960 ft.) This Spring, I am gunning for high 11s all motor, and who knows what on spray (no roll bar yet so i gotta keep her above 11.5. )
Sorry for the long first thread, im usually a short poster so forgive me for this one. PM me if you know me and want to say hi, otherwise Ill see everyone on the boards!
Edited: Typos.

Welcome aboard Mike. I can vouche (spelling) for his car being a beast i have also driven it many times. The car is extremely fast and handles very well.
Mike is right about me almost living at his house. I am at his house more than i am at my own.

haha CJ bro is that you??? Good to see ya man, thanks for the welcome! I was actually going to try and contact you soon, I just bought a full wet kit to add to my heads/cam, and was looking for a few "ideas" on where to mount some stuff. (Although I know my way in and out of an LS1, i am new to nitrous in every way. Jay tells me you hooked your kit up yourself so I figured you might be the guy to talk to in the area).
PM me your cell phone number or get mine from Jay and we'll meet up sometime. You outta bring your ride over to the new house to hang out soon too!
