I went to public
Private is usually 75-100... I know of a few that are 75.

When i got my Monte SS inspected, i went private just to avoid the DMV inspection station jerks. That cost me $75 and was basically all legit. I passed emissions fine. Now if I had went to the state, they probably found something to fail it for.

dahm it, i forgot it started a new page on 601, oh well ill edit it later.
All inspections since like 2000 (i think) are for 2 years. However if you car is registered say in june of 2005 your inspection will be june of 2007. If you were due in june of 2005 and didnt go till june of 2006...your inspection will still be for June 2007. You understand how it works?

same thing happened to me, check back like 10 pages  i was liek how many more till page 15, and it ended up being in the middle of page 15! its justin's fault hes screwing with us

public inspection is great and all, but private is the way to go.
75-100 bucks isn't too bad, and alot of times if you know the shop, they will tell you what's wrong with the car, let you fix it and bring it back for re-inspect no charge.

so im thinking of getting a 87 firebird as a project or parts car...its got a 700r4 and a 305 i think its tbi got hit in the back at like 20 mph...what you guys think? its like 300 and in nj

if there is nothing wrong with your car and you cant use any parts off it, pass it up. I dont think your parents would be too thrilled if you had 2 cars taking up space two years before you can drive.
