Does any one beleive in ghost's? If so why and share your expereinces! I beleive in them, never really saw a ghost but I have seen some crazzy things that really cant be explained...

I don't believe in ghosts as the scary "Boo!" kind, but i believe in spirits, and sometimes people are privileged enough to encounter one. I personally haven't but i know a few people who said they have.

and you guys have/had ghosts in your house? i think i might actually have a ghost cat in my house. on random nights when i would be laying in my bed it would feel like a cat was walking around my bed or something. pretty strange, i wasnt freaked out by it, it was just wierd. i never saw/heard anything, just felt it. maybe it was just my imagination. it would happen randomly and not very often maybe once or twice a month if that. i told my mom and she just laughed at me

i like to believe that its my cat corola that died when i was about 7 or 10 or somthing liek that. either that or im just crazy...

i should take some of you guys up to my girl's best friends house in New Hope.

you hear musket fire in her backyard at 3am...

see people walk around in the basement.....

have doors slammed shut in your face.....

WOW. i was chased by a ghost up at my pops house. One night we were chillen having a barn fire n we watched kid ghosts run in the house out of the house n all around

the house dates back to the 1800s.

it used to be a safe house for injured soldiers during the civil war.

slaves were kept in the basement.

someone hung themself there.

one guy died of AIDs in the master bedroom.

there's a little girl that bouces a ball in the hall.

a floating face appears in the bathroom.

the cats stare at people that aren't there.

the best is the first night i went up there with my girl....

we were in the computer room on the second floor and her friend was telling me about all the wierd **** that's happened in the house. while we are sitting there, i saw a shadow walking up one of the stairways and started hearing people talking downstairs. mind you, we were the only ones there.

i kept hearing the one door to the room creaking, like someone was leaning on it from the other side. my girl said she had to pee, so she walks up to the door i kept mentioning and turns the handle to open it. theres some "thing" standing on the other side. it was the sahpe of a person, but had no distinguishable features. it grabs the handle on the outside of the door and pulls it out of my girl's hand and slams it shut. i just sat there, pale white, not moving for a minute or two.

then at like 3 we decided to go out for a cigarette and then go to sleep. we're sitting outside and clear as day you can hear musket fire coming from the woods behind the house.

real creepy **** goes on there.

My pops house used to be a slave farmhouse the house up the street was the barn n the huse on the toip of the hill was th3e slaves quarters.

That's crazy... I guess that'd be fun tho as long as none of these encounters have turned for the worse... then again I have never experianced anything liek that so could be horribly mistaken

that's only some of it.....you should hear some of the stories i've heard....

here's a good one...

i haven't seen this myself yet....at night, if you look through the floor boards in the kitchen you can see people walking around in the basement.

i've been down there before and it feels like a thousand eyes are watching you as soon as you get to the bottom of the stairs. in the 1800s, they used to keep the slaves down there, alot of them died down there.

another one is when my girl's friend was taking a shower after she got home from town (people who have been to New Hope know what i mean), she started washing her hair and right after she rinsed the shampoo out, she saw a bust (shoulders, head, face, hair) in front of her. she thought it was a combination of steam and being tired so she waved her hand in front of her where it was. the bust stayed there. she ran out of the shower, grabbed a towel and ran downstairs and started calling people to come over. one of her friends showed up and said she was shaking uncontrolably.

what would you do if someone was standing infront of you in the shower and you knew you were the only one in the bathroom????

I'll give a quick rundown of what happened to me about 2 years ago. Now keep in mind I practice some Native American spirituality stuff and have a good understanding and knowlege regarding this subject.

I was at a friend's house up in the Gettysburg area(very haunted) around Chrismtas time. I believed in ghosts but never really thought much more about them but it changed that night. I was sleeping on the couch that night. It was probably around 2AM. The one living room light started flickering. Once...then off. Twice then off. I'm like wtf? I'm just dreaming. It did it again. So I sit up, look around..wondering what was going on. I look around, nothing. I put my head back down and no more than 30 seconds later it did it again. Now I KNOW something was happening. I sit up AGAIN look around. I feel a strange cold feeling to my left and something was telling me to look that way. I felt something(not knowing what it was at the time) but saw nothing as it was pitch black. This is what freaked me out though. I feel the cold travel across the room to the other side of the living room. I look over towards that side of the room(near the front door so there was a tiny bit of light shining in) and BAM. A slightly shadowed area near the painting by the front door. At this point I'm starting to bug out. I say **** it, I'm laying back down. I lay down and close my eyes. I start to slowly drift off and the light goes NUTS! I mean all kinds of blinking and ****. I have no problem admitting that I jumped up and ran into my friend's room like a 5year old school girl that just had her lolipop taken away.

Both my friend and his mom are into the Native American stuff(his mom is actually very well trained and the things she can do is nothing short of amazing(but that's for another thread, for another time)). They come running out and at least witnessed the light doing it's thing so they know I'm not going crazy lol. She walked outside and did a few things. She comes back in and they tell me that the light is old and could just be screwed up OR that the light bulb was looose(which wasn't the case because I checked it the first time I was woken up).

The next day they told me the truth. They lied to me that night because they weren't sure how'd I react. There was something in that room and it wanted out ASAP. That was my first real, verifiable experience(I thought I've seen stuff in the past however nothing was ever this intense).

There it is, you can call BS or believe it, I don't care.

It was quite an experience.
