Cast Iron L98 (083) Heads - $100!
Hey all,
My L98 is in the machine shop, and I will not be using these heads. Last three digits are 083; cast-iron L98 heads with a 64cc chamber. These are a good upgrade over TBI (swirl-port) heads. They're very clean, no sludge built up in them, and the headgaskets were perfect when we took the heads off. Not sure on mileage, but the entire block was in great shape and ran when the motor was pulled from the car.
$100, picked up in North Jersey. I'll include the rocker arms and valve covers too. Post or PM if interested!

Unfortunately, they won't work on a 305, because the bore is too small. Sorry man!

if it is an original 350 TBI it may already have 083 heads on it. i forget what year they switched, but eventually the LO5 got the same heads as the L98

i think the tbi heads I have the 197's or something like that. the heads i posted for sale a while back with the 350 longblock bored .040" over. I was thinking about just assembling the engine to keep as a spare in case i ever buy a car that needs an engine.
