OVERHEATED!

Well, after putting the exhaust on and finally getting the cat in there...i let the car run for a little while, come to realize the car is smoking like a pig from everywhere....temp gauge reads 1,000,000,000 degrees and being as though i took the ac and heater box out the interior was filled with smoke as well all because the lower rad hose blew apart...got all the hoses replaced now just have to do a few minor things and hopefully it will run well again.

If it was "that" hot... I'd check the heads and block again. I ran my 67 327 about 350 once and cracked both of the heads and then it hydro locked... bout 10k down the drain

just replace the hoses, and the T-stat and run it for a few hours and see if its acting normal. If not, you might have cracked something.
