my trailers in use, but i'm curious how you only insure it 6 months out of the year? My insurance won't let me have any type of a registered vehicle without insurance.

If you lived closer I have both. I can borrow a trailer from my brother in-law, or A dealer tag overnight from work. What racetrack are you going to?

most collector car comapnies wont insure me or my father because im under 21 and my little sister likes to play demo. derby with her cars so the car is registered normally then i just insure it as my second car for 6 months my family uses allstate

ill check with uhaul but if i remember correctly they only want you to tow their trailer with one of there trucks..i will look into it though

my dad and I rented a UHaul trailer to pick up his vette, the place was located in my town, but they're not there anymore. look around in the yellow pages, you'll find a few dealers in the area

U-haul will rent you a trailer, but they are kinda strict about what you use to tow what car. If you have a little truck, and you are trying to tow something heavy they won't rent you the trailer.

u haul sucks up by me, they never have a trailer, even when i make reservations weeks in advance and they promise it for me, thats why i will never use uhaul again. But they will rent just a trailer.

He already explained this if you had bothered to read

The car is registered, it just isn't insured, and he doesn't want to risk driving it to the track without the insurance. He only keeps the car insured 6 months out of the year, because he doesn't drive it during the winter or while he is away at school.

thats so strange to me that you can do that. My insurance wouldnt let me take the car off the insurance without surrendering the plates so i get stuck paying out the ass for my camaro ALL year long.
