New GTO (Pics)
We picked up my Dad's new GTO yesterday. Here are a few quick pictures I took. It sucked because there is still sooo much salt on the roads that it got sorta messy, so I couldn't take many. Also, we noticed when we got the car home that there's some weird imperfections in the car's paint on the hood. So we're going to bring it back to the dealer to check it out next week. But other than that, the car is AMAZING. The power is unbelievable (can't imagine what a Z06 is like). Once it gets better out, I'll take some better shots...

Very nice dude...VERY nice. I saw a NBM one parked at Rassas Pontiac the other day...I so f'ing want one. I hate that a month after I got my Maxx, that they brought int he heavy discounts for the 04's. That would have been the ONLY other car I would have went with.

Yeah, my dad is thinking of getting the recessed grilles at some point. I'd definitely like to see him get them.

This is just to say, I'm glad there are people on here that are into this breed of GTO. It's hard to find people who really like the car. Most people who I told in the past that my dad was thinking of getting one would hate on it right away. I've never driven a car that feels so at home on the road. My dad chose the 17s (I would've gone with the 18s) but the car still handles amazing. What you get for the $ is unbelievable. I can't think of another car that gives you 400 hp and torque, IRS, true dual exhaust and a smile from ear to ear for $30K. It's a dream to drive. I think I'm going to start sleeping in it, the seats are definitely comfy enough

If I didn't have the munchkins to think about I'd definitely think about a GTO or new Camaro. though I'll prolly get a Charger cause it has 4 doors.

That isn't the same one I took a photo of earlier is it? (had the optional chromes?) No matter what that is defenitly an awsome color for the GTO, now ditch the spoiler and its fap-tastic! Congrats!

Yeah, the dealer had a set of aftermarket chromes on it. My dad wanted the original wheels so they just threw them back on. When we picked the car up, they had a red 06 in the garage and they put the chrome ones on that.

That car would look bad with black ZR1 style rims. Menacing.
