What's with everyone being all kinds of pissy last night and today? I think I've had to edit/delete more individual posts this afternoon than I ever have before. What gives?

I mean, I'm cranky, but that's because I'm stuck in an office building until 5:30, and I've been reading nothing but arguements on here all afternoon. You don't see me ripping into anyone just because I don't agree with them.

This is the interweb, and everyone is free to express their opinion. But for the love of all that is holy, do it in a respectful manner.

Just do it in a joking manner. There is no reason that everyone here can't be friendly with one another. That doesn't mean that you can't rip into people, but some people take things way to seriously, or way to far. One post had 2 full pages of arguements back and forth between two people that were hardly respectful.

I don't expect people not to disagree with each other on occasion, but some people need to learn when to grow up when disagreeing with someone.

I wasn't online last night and only for a short time earlier today and now I start seeing some of these attitude posts. Cut the cr@p out, you're wasting bandwidth!

It was an amazing day, but I was stuck at work from 8-6

I also noticed that a lot of people are getting a little out of hand with the negative comments. Would this be considered a warning or do you usually send those via PM?

first off, I dont wear underwear

second, it doesnt matter to me what goes on here, its the internet and if someone really has a problem with me, oh well. I just dont like it when one person is constantly attacked by half the active members on a daily basis. Sometimes people here need to realize that even though they dont take any of it seriously, others might.

I get made fun of all the time, it doesnt bother me because I know 99% of it is a joke and the other 1% doesnt really mean anything to me. But there are more vulnerable members on the site who look up to the older members. They are impressionable and probably care what we have to say. So when people start harassing them, I get upset because I wouldnt want to be in that situation and most of the time, they dont deserve to be in that situation.

I dont have any issues with anyone on this site, but when one or more members treat another member unfairly, I get pissed off.

I agree with Ian to a certain extent but, the fact that this "kid" is posting more than most of us, his posts towards me are normally criticizing... As far as the "kid" growing up that's what school and family ties are for, not Firebird/Camaro forums come on... good thing for LS1Tech to resolve my technical issues, it's getting a little out of hand here especially with "other" people

the fact that this kid post a lot doesnt have anything to do with how you and others single him out. If you dont like what he's doing, dont talk to him. by you posting, he is going to feel compeled to reply and thats just going to add to your frustration. he cant hijack a thread if no one responds to him, right? It takes more effort to make fun of him than it does to ignore him. If you really have that big of a problem with him, either PM him about it or ignore him.

think about this too, how much did you know about cars when you were 14? wait, dont answer that, I forgot we're on the internet where everyone has been building motors since 7 months before they were born and they know everything there is to know cars in general

seriously though, he is trying to learn and at the same time, he's trying to fit in. I cant even count the number of times I've pushed a topic off in the wrong direction, but no one ever got mad at me for it.

The kid is young, he wants to learn and the maturity lever between him and the rest of us is not quite the same. accept it or kindly keep your mouth shut. I'm sure matt is sick of it and I know I am. But it doesnt really matter what I say, no one is going to listen to me
