wheel and tire sizes...
so i went outside after seeing something about tire sizes and typical wheel sizes. i really had no idea what i had on either car, as i've never bought tires. the '87 is naturally ok except for the left rear tire. so, then i started to think it might be worthwhile to keep track of what people had on their cars and what they changed to, so that others could make a similar move without asking "what is the max tire size that will fit under a 3rd gen" or "what's the backspacing on those wheels?"
if you guys want, you can email me or PM your changes. if you changed from stock to something else, just give me the new size. i have a chart for wheel size, including max/min width and recommended BS for a given tire, but give me those dimensions if you know them. also include if you changed your suspension at all, as if someone is trying to duplicate your look and all they buy is tires/wheels, they will know why the cars don't look similar.
i have all makes and models available, so i expect to hear from UBG and others with cars that are not firebirds/camaros.

can you post some pics of your AMX? i'd like to see it, not to many of them around especially with 18's.

bob - you running stock rubber on the caddy? also, who makes the wheels you have on both the GN and AMX? what is the backspacing (if known)? thanks, it will help fill in some blanks.
the list is coming along nicely. i will prepare something legible and present it probably sometime next week, so if you have a change in tire/wheel that you want included in the list make sure to send me your info.
