Bruce's speed shop
Anyone ever deal with him??he's located in rt 46 in rockaway...i've bought from him before, but last time i was there we were talking bout engine work, I do all my work myself except the machining...anyone ever bring anything to him??? he also has a chassy dinosoaur...theres alwyas this ****** mustang sittin on it...but i think bruce, or his wife has a late forth gen T/A...I basically just wanna know before i bring any work to him if he does good work, he seems kinda arrogant to me...

ive never had any work done personally but i used to deliver to the garden center across the street, and ive always seen camaros there so i guess theyve done some 4th gens,, one day they had a sick ac cobra on the dyno

he subs out to all to machine shops, and makes an end, nothing realy wrong with that cept you never get to deal with the actualy guy doing the work or ask the questions that sometimes come up with special stuff, their are other guys in the area that are real good with hands on shops but the better ones are pricy jz

That cobra is always on the dyno... I think it just died on there  jk

I have always been recommended to go to him for LT1 work, problem is Rockaway is too far for me.

haha na the day i saw it was VERY alive the thing sounded nasty
and ttp said they foward all there work to bruces when i called about a header install

If you are looking for quality machine work to be done, try Bill Ceralli in Paterson. They built my 396.

i have heard of some problem with him... my buddy got screwed by him.. i would not recomend goin to him

I had machine work done on my 350 that was in my old camaro at a place in Manville. south side auto I think. real nice guy, been in business since the 60's so you know he's got a good rep. probably too far of a drive for ya though. Plus his race motors take up a lot of his time. luckily for me, when I went he was waiting on a crank to come in for the motor he was building, so my motor got done in a few days 8)

Yeah thanks, I'm willing to drive for good work, He also said he tunes lt1 motors, I've dealt with the guy before, Not a very nice guy, I like nice people...I dont expect much, but dont talk to me like i'm an ******* you know? I'm not stupid, so I didn't go back for a while, but I saw the dynosaur sittin outside, with that ****** muskrat sittin on it, figured I'd put it to good use...

couldnt even sell me the correct $3 gasket for my rear. Another time they tried selling me that DTS 12 bolt they have had sitting there for months. Said it would handle between 800-1000 wheel hp. BS! I called DTS to ask and it was no where near that even for the top optioned rear. All he is good for is gettin parts in a pinch fluids,clamps, etc.. I work right down from the street there and the same damn cars are always there. Wanna hear a great quote? " I am like God tuning the LS1."

yeah, i've seen you round town, M&S is my favorite pizza place...They are the reason, i look like shrek...I go there whenever i'm in rockaway...you've mighta seen me round, in my work van, white e250, looks real gay on the side, all colorfull and ****, PIRTEK in big yellow leters....yeah, thats me...
