HOLLEY 52mm HELP PLEASE!!!

I just got a new Holley 52mm throttle body for my 96Z, I read in one thread that it was just bolt on plug and play kinda deal, so I unhooked everything from the stock TB and put it on the new one, I bolted it back up and tried to start it, and it makes the whining noise then shuts off, it takes about 5seconds from when I turn the key, to shutting down...I really need some help I need to drive the car by saturday, if you guys can help me out I REALLY APPRECIATE IT

THANK YOU

Chris

Sounds like you need to get a scantool (or a voltmeter) and reset your throttle position sensor.

Well, the TPS is on the driver side of the throttlebody. On the TPI cars (and I'm assuming LT1s too, since they use a similar throttlebody), the TPS is actually slotted, so that it can rotate clockwise/counterclockwise. If that's rotated too far one way or the other, the computer is gonna see way too much (or little) voltage and not allow the car to start.

I'd help if I wasnt' on the other side of North Jersey.
