picked up a new DD

well yesterday i went up to my mothers work ,Fette ford (ford dealership) to just visit we end up coming home in a semi new dodge ram 1500

what i had : 1997 plymouth breeze , 62,xxx miles, power nothing, 2.0 liter basically a crap box, great shape though

what we got : 2003 dodge ram 1500....5,7xx miles, regular cab, 6 foot bed , full loaded, leather,3.92's with a posi 5.7 hemi , all black , has a lid, and i believe it MAY be lowered but i dont think so , ,its nice to be in a decent DD

what had happen was the original owner bought it, drove it for 5k miles, and died, it sat in his garage and hes son inherited it, the son drove it for about 500 miles, decided he wanted a mustang went to look at mustangs and walked away with a new f350 using the trade in value of the dodge as a downpayment

Looks like it is lowered....Dodge trucks sit much higher than that stock.

Nice improvement in a DD, but milage is gonna suck compared to the econobox....

I was working on a 2003 quad cab 1500 4x4 today. they are definitely nice trucks, I would not mind owning one. gas mileage be damned

I love the nose on those Dodge trucks. Just so 'powerful' looking!

Enjoy it and be safe!
