10 Bolt w/fresh 4.10's, Rebuild, and Girdle - SOLD
I pulled the 10 bolt out of the purple car today. It has a freshly installed Thunder Racing gear package consisting of Strange 4.10 gears, Ratech Master rebuild kit (bearings, ect), and an Aluminum Girdle w/Thunder Racing engraved into the back portion. This setup cost me $1000 for purchase and installation less than 1000 miles ago. When the gears were installed, I had the shop go over the rear end and everything checked out fine. The gears have a bit of whine between 45-60 and that's it, I figure it's from the backlash which is set at the tight end of the spectrum. It has been torn apart and inspected and everything was wearing fine at teardown. BTW, the oil residue all over the rear is from the multitude of oil leaks common on the motor. The rear itself is NOT leaking. This is a 3 Channel ABS NON-TCS rear from a 93.
With the money I just dropped on it, I'm taking a pretty good hit. As such, I'm asking $500 for the rear end.

well if you can't sell it at the price, I'd be willing to buy the girdle and stud kit off it seperately

Still for sale. Willing to take reasonable offers. This is a smoking deal for anyone wanting to do gears as it will cost at least this much for JUST gears and installation.
I also forgot to mention that this rear end also has Lower Control Arm relocation brackets welded on.

Are you talking about the tire diameter in relation to gearing?

You know you want to!!! It would be fun.......and then when you get your 12 bolt you can slap the slicks on this 10 bolt and see what may or may not happen. Lots of fun!!!!

Yeah, it's the factory posi from the 93 that it came out of. I had the shop check it out while everything was apart and it's good to go. Let me know man.

Sicklerville is right off of exit 45 (I think, it's the LAST expressway exit before merging with route 42) on the Atlantic City Expressway. Look for Turnersville and you're almost there.
Also, if you don't want step-dad finding out, bring your car down and I'll help you toss the rear in the car. It should only take a couple three hours.

Ah, no biggie. Actually, I see that you've got a 93. You don't want 4.10's with a stock 93 Tranny, M28 or M29. That would essentially equate to a 4.34 in a 94+ car. Only reason why we had 4.10's in our 93 in the first place was because it's an A4 to M6 swap with a 95 tranny.
