To wayfast84:The suspension is not air ride. I did not want that. What I have is a narrowed Ford 9" rear with 32" ladder bar set up with panhard diagonal bar.The shocks are AVO coil overs adjustable. Thanks for the comment on the car!

 | Thanks Don! I wish I would have layed down some better numbers. The car was a ways off of its potential. I'll have it working better next time out.

Don your car was gorgeous. As soon as I saw it in the morning I kissed my chance of Best of Show goodbye hahah. I went over that thing with a fine tooth comb and it was amazing. Next time I do a thirdgen I want to go the clean route in the engine bay as well. Damn emissions and other gadgets just make it ugly no matter how clean it is. Congrats again!

I am glad that you thought that of my car. I appreciate your comments and it was a long 4 to 5 years of building this thing to get it to where it is at and what it is today.I want you to know that your car was very sharp and very clean looking. There are not many third gens that are around that are too nice and when you see them in a condition like yours and mine that is excellent to see. As for the emissions thing,I have eliminated everything I could to build the engine the way I did and it worked out great. The car only needs a yearly inspection and that is all. Again, thanks for the comments and take care of the IROC. Take care, Don B.

Thanks for the comments on my car. I agree....most thirdgens have been completely driven into the ground these days. How long ago did you finish your car by the way? I never got a chance to stop and talk to you yesterday

Started backhalving it in 96' and finished it up in 01'. I have still been adding things and redoing things to it over the years to this day. I come to ask myself if it will ever be done. A friend of mine camaroracer1992 said that you do powdercoating and I took one of your cards. I am looking at getting my intake manifold powder coated in the fall to a bright almost chrome finish and would like to know if you have such a color and can this be done? How much would it cost?

There are some nice near chrome colors out on the market today that we can use. I'll have to do some research to find which one is the best. When you are ready PM me on here or get in touch with me through my shop and I'll give you a price. If it's just the intake should be about $150...maybe less depending on how long it takes to blast.

35thls1ss19Thanks for the comment and letting me know you enjoyed seeing the car. Just another thing is that I drive it everywhere to shows and it is never trailered. I built it to drive. Cleaning it everytime a show is over gets old,but it is a great time wherever I go with it. I want to let you know your car was very sharp as well. Good lookin' 4th Gen.
 Take care, Don B.
