Since there seems to be some confusion.....
There is no party in the basement on Thursday night. The immediate future of the site depends on a few hours of serious concentration, and I can't have that with a bunch of drunks running around.

By "a few hours of concentration" you mean watching stuff upload. This beautiful site was started with beer and a credit card. I say why change that if it seems to work for us?

because distractions and mistakes at this point would lead to a lot bigger problems than a few hours of downtime.

that is very high on the to-do list after the changeover. expect to see a lot of additions to the site nwo that we don't have to worry about overloading a server or running out of bandwidth
