firehawk, i just dont get you. you call yourself mature, yet you are the first to judge people. So what if people want to stay in line for 3 days to get a PS3 or a Wii. It is thier choice, not yours. Why bust on people for doing things that make them happy? If they thought Borat was funny why call them immature and stupid. People have different opinions and that is that. It is like they were forcing to go watch Borat. It is your choice not to like him or not. Just like it is thier choice to go see him and voice an opinion about it. Have an opinion is good buit judging people by some little things i just wrong. I mean have you ever meet the people you attacked? How can you judge someone just by liking one movie?
Voicing an opinion is good but judging people by is just dumb.

88Iroc, like i said I made a general comment that the movie did not appear to be funny to me and the fact that 90% of the people going to see it can't even drive yet proved to me it was meant for younger immature people. I don't judge people based on one situation, but I do form opinions of those people and if future actions such as the actions in this thread prove me right then I ignore those people because I don't want to be around them.
My opinions were attacked and then I was attacked. So I guess my opinion offeneded people probably because they know it was partly true, and the truth usually hurts. Like I said I'm done arguing people have their own views and opinions I can respect that but I refuse to agree with them just because they want to make fun of my opinion. I never bowed to peer pressure as a teen I surely won't do it as an adult.

it's not your views that were attacked it's the way you come off. you come off very rightous and condescending. I would think being in your 30's you'd be able to distinguish the difference. You've even had people not a part of this call you immature. GROW UP, and stop whining about. We get the point you don't give in to peer pressure and we'll all very proud of you. It's obvious there is no off button on your genious switch. Please repost so he can benefit from this.

going back on topic....
I wonder why i took them sooo long to sue him. Im pretty sure there was ample time between the actual shot and the release of the movie to file a claim. I may be assuming to much, but im pretty sure that these college kids knew who Borat is. I also wonder why only 2 of them are acutally sueing (sp).
edit: eh, what Im saying is that if i was in a video by some "famous" actor and he had a movie coming out which uses the same character, I would demand to know if i was lied to and what not.
Also, just because the film isn't going to be shown in the US, doesn't mean that it can get in the US somehow.....we have the internet and sites like youtube.

I'm sure there was a great deal of time in between as well. They probably thought it was cool when they were asked to do it, then saw the movie, saw themselves looking like idiots and hired a lawyer or talked to someone and came up with a way to get money for it.
EDIT: Maybe the producers intent was to get them drunk to agree to it all, but they didnt force the drinks down their throats. They chose to drink to that point.
