rutgers w.va game --wow--
what a fight the knights put up. a great game into 3 overtimes, sad to see them lose though i was hoping for a big bowl game for them. but what an unbelievable year they had!! way to make n.j. proud!!

those overtimes were absolutely killer! talk about suspense. i didnt see the whole game, but i wish i had.. caught it just in time to watch the overtimes, and all i can say is wow.

Karen and I caught the last few minutes of the 4th quarter and all three overtimes when we at Friday's for dinner. They did put up a good fight....

imo it should not have been a loss. late in the game wva fumbled the ball and rutgers picked it up and scored but the refs said the dude was down. replays clearly showed otherwise. all in all their best season ever!

i have high hopes for next season. hopefully Teel will be replaced and the experience and practice will only make them better. it makes me feel good about my decision to attend this university.

i now wear my rutgers football sweatshirt with pride.. its amazing how many people have asked me where i got it.. when i tell them i've had it for 2 years all the new found rutgers fans are quite disappointed.

rutgers will be a much better team next year. most of their starters will return, reports are saying that calls to the athletic department about recruiting are 10 times what they were a year ago, and the program has more money to throw into new top tier facilities than ever(yes, another new gym is in the schools future)
hopefully it will turn into a bit of a tradition to have some good teams up there. it is already a pretty well respeced school academically, some successful teams will round the place out nicely.
