Maroon 93-97 Camaro spotted in Bound Brook, NJ

I live in Bound Brook, NJ and there is always a guy with a 93-97 maroon camaro that drives past my house a few times. His car is loud and lowered, with tinted windows and what looks like drag wheels and fat tires. Sweet looking and sounding ride. Just wondering if he is on this Forum or if anyone ever sees a car like that around the somerset County area. I know no one ever sees me whenever i drive my car around, but thats my luck. When i drive the camaro, no one is ever around worth impressing, but when i am in another car with my parents or friends driving, thats when there are people out there to impress. I even drive around rutgers, and i don't think anyone from this board ever sees me when i do. lol. But yeah, about that marron camaro.

What part of Bound Brook do you live in? Do you know the car and person i speak of? I am up for hanging. Bound Brook is one of those towns you live in, but never hang out in. Anyway, i am up for hanging. Maybe we can get a little car group going or something.

If it's the car Im thinking of, then both UB and myself know who's it is. It belongs to a guy on this forum who lives on Elizabeth Avenue in Franklin. He drives a '95 Z28 with tinted windows, shorty headers and a few bolt on mods.

I'm actually in Somerset, on Elizabeth Ave. Only a few miles down the road. Myself and jOn have had some good success w/ getting a somewhat local group together. We've hung out at the Mickey D's on Easton Ave, and the 7-11 in Greenbrook, right off 22. If we meet up it is usually on Friday, and once in a while on Sat. If ya want me to give ya a buzz when we are hanging out, PM me your cell # or home phone #, and I'll let ya know. Sometimes the plans are kinda last minute, but if you could come out it would be kool. A bunch of peeps also hang out @ the grease trucks in New Brunswick on Wed night, starting up around 10:00 PM. But IMHO it is getting kinda cold to be hanging outside. The car you mentioned might belong to John Roscoe, AKA "Johnny Rocket." He lives 2 doors down from me. It is a nice, clean Camaro.

Sorry Bob, I thought Elizabeth Avenue was part of Franklin. My error.

You're not wrong, dood. I believe when ya spell it all out it is Somerset, Franklin Township. So, we both were right.

You know, now that i think of it, the guy with the Maroon camaro may be from the Franklin/Somerset/So. Bound Brook area, cause i did see him coming over the So. Bound brook/Bound Brook Bridge on my way to work one day as i was going into south bound brook. If any of you guys see him, tell him i said his car is awesome looking and sounding. But it could very well be a guy that lives a block away from me. I remember one time i was washing and waxing my car in the drive way and he passed me by, but not in his camaro and he told me he owned a camaro himself and that he lived a block away from me. Same guy? Not sure, but if it is, he was cool to talk to.

Anyway, yeppers, that sounds cool to hang on friday nights. Would be better if it was a warmer weather day though. I am game. I work at the Somerset Marriott off 287, so the McD's is only a 4 min ride. Do you guys get together in summer time too? I was wondering if you guys ever go to the Somerville Car show?

Hi, Guys,
That Camaro you see in BB isn't mine. Sounds like mine, looks like mine, but mine doesn't hang out in BB. My wife, Cindy, is enjoying it in Somerset while her ride is in the shop. She's lovin' it, but watching out for 5.0 (cops) because it draws their attention.

P.S. I'm goin' to Cancun to find some sun. Be back in two weeks.

Funny......I live right on the Bridgewater/Bound Brook border and I've never seen that car around. Although most people haven't seen mine either since it only comes out on weekends.
UB and Jon let me know if you guys are meeting up this friday, I may roll out for a bit in the truck.

I'd love to approach the guy on foot and walk up to him, but being the car has tinted windows and its Bound Brook, i don't want the guy to get angry if he isn't the guy i think he is and it may be some angry dumb person or something. I am willing to bet though that its no one on here.
