Can't afford a Vette. Had my Jeep since it was new in 2001. I like driving off road and climbing big rocks. None of the Camaros I've ever owned could do that, so I bought a Jeep for the days I feel like going off road.

Bought my '01 Cherokee Sport in March of '05. It's been a great daily driver and family hauler. I even used it to pick up my 350 from Paul's house.
My wife has an '03 Jeep Liberty Limited, and my mom owns a '99 Grand Cherokee, so we're a Jeep family.

No. I'm a mod here, I have DOA F-bodies.
Never owned a Jeep, likely never will. Although driving my wife's old Honda Passport (ie Isuzu Rodeo) felt a lot like a long cj. And that is not a compliment.

I own a '04 Jeep Wrangler SE 4cyl. The reasons I like it;
1. 4x4 standard
2. soft top (convertable)
3. tons of aftermarket parts
my last vehicle was a 94 Ford Ranger 4cyl 5 speed 4x2 regular cab(cost $11,500). To replace it in '04 it would have been $18k. The Jeep was @16k and has more room and options.

Not spectacular...it's got a 4.56 rear.....@ 14 city/17hwy i think. The good thing is that it's only alowed to use 87 octane.

SUV's ain't s#it anymore. My Dad had a 80 K5 Blazer. I could hear him 3 blocks away(350,4bbl,4speed) and nothing could stop that beast. Then he got an 86 Toyota 4 Runner. Great Truck, it had no problem towing a 17 foot boat or lawn trailer. Todays SUVs are crap. Too man sensors,too heavy,too plush.
