Just got my parts!!
Well my parts arrived this afternoon, and I just thought id share it with you guys because, I have about 90% of the parts/things, to do my vortec 400 swap, Im still waiting for my bowtie overdrives TC lock up, and I need a line from the fuel pump to the carb, I need some gauges, and a trans cooler, Id like to have my trans Re-rebuilt, but my budget has allready owned me. Next up after I pay this crap off, Is a 9inch or 12 bolt and SFC.
Heres all my stuff for this motor.
The valve covers where from Bill(baddest434) so thank you Bill!
What are some good machine shops around my area? I tried contacting one, but no answer so far.
More pics to come!

I figured this was a thread about your orange bike flag, new bike seat, and/or new streemers for your Huffy.
So..you re 16 months old, and you already have owned 2 different nitrious sets ups.
A month ago, you couldnt tell the difference between a upper radiator hose and a carb...and now you are gunna build an engine.
Outstanding.

I have been sick ever since hockey season then got the flue, thats why the tissues are here.
As to al, i was thinking about that last night, Ive had 3 aftermarket cams, 2 intakes,2 sets of heads, 2 sets of headers etc. What I realized is I need to make dicisions on my own, and not what other people tell me to,Unless they are real knowledegable, and respected on the sites I frequently ask questions on.
The bottle bracket wasnt a joke, Ive been dead tired all week because ive been studdying for english late at night..
I got the heads from jegs, They where more expensive then Scoggin dickey, but It wasnt to bad, and I wasnt sure how scoggin dickey was with shipping.
Ian, your vortec build up is gonna suck compared to mine

Matt,
I picked up High Performance POntiac (magazine) off the shelf the other day because I cancelled my subscription. June 2007. The very first editorial in that issue is about restoring cars... and the PLAN YOU NEED TO HAVE IN PLACE BEFORE YOU BEGIN. I'm just pointing this out because as I looked ove the parts you have above, I began to reflect on your project over the last, what, 2 years?
If you haven't got HPP in subscription, I would highly suggest you pick up the issue and read it over. It's very informative and may help organize your project into a workable plan.
I'm not posting this to be a jerk, just pointing it out because it actually helped me.

Untamed, I always had a plan, it was headers, exaust, airfilter, subframe connectors, and gears. It just evolved from there. I hope i never have another project car
