i figured that i would test it out before i committed to buying relocation brackets. i'm going to be upgrading to a 9 inch rear late spring/early summer and didn't want to have to buy brackets twice.
luckily, i haven't experienced any wheel hop yet, but then again, i only had the car out for a couple days after i put the shocks & springs on (the weather and salty roads chased it back into the garage).

it took me an entire saturday afternoon and part of sunday afternoon to get everything done in my driveway. the only thing i didn't do myself was put the upper shock mount onto the front springs. i didn't want to chew up my springs by putting compressors on them so i took the assembly to my friend's garage and hit it up with an air ratchet (took the better part of 12 seconds each so if you have a compressor, use it otherwise find a friend who has one). i used the writeup on ls1howto.com
good call on saving up money to get properly valved shocks.
