			did any one catch the episode on tonight?
 in the very beginning he said that the damage to the trans am was from $3000-$4000, that sounds like a lot of b.s. to me

			Depends on the paint job I guess.  I don't recall the front clip being cracked, just scuffed.      Didn't see the episode last night - did the Alsop's say anything about any other damage behind the front clip?

A good repair job probably would cost 3K; it needs a front nose cover, headlight assy., plus a strip/repaint on the hood/fender and blend to the rest of the car. If the hood/fender are damaged at all, that'll add to the price.

			just a fender and headlight on my SS was $1,100, and that was not even blending the paint.
