			No real difference brand to brand - they all do the same thing. I recommend spending the extra cash to get one with pre-bent lines, makes the installation much easier. 
 
I think Craig has the SLP one, and we installed that pretty quickly.

			i've had the Hurst Line lock for about 5 years now. works great and easy to hook up.  Making the lines your self is not as hard as you may think, i used a socket set and bent the lines around them so not to collapse the lines, came out great.  Well, the SLP kit that he's talking about comes with lines pre-bent for a 4th gen. No one (that I know of) sells one with pre-bent lines for a second gen.

			The 3 best kits I know, all offer about the same thing: 
 
All three kits come with prebent lines and a prefab'd wiring harness.   
 
Thunderracing -  Is a Hurst unit.   
 
SLP - I don't know which brand SLP uses. 
 
SJM MFG -  Choice of Biondo or Hurst Selonoid.  SJM also offers an option unit and lines to delete ABS.  This is suppose to be the only NHRA leagal wiring harness. 
 
FWIU:  NHRA require that there is a seperate power switch.  I'm not 100%, I didn't check the rule book, but I don't know of any track rejecting a car for it, at least not us slow guys.  Maybe a 9.99 car?  But this is how I installed my kit from Thunder.  I have a toggle switch to enable the power, and the activation switch mounted on my shifter.  So I can't accidently activate should I have to make a panic stop or someone could turn in on by mistake.  So if something happens the front brakes won't lock should I hit the button on the shifter when braking and shifting/turning. 
 
 You should use line wrenchs so you don't damage the fittings.  The fitting in the ABS can he a %^@&*% to get out.  And you'll need to bleed the brakes once installed.  Total job should take no more then 2 hours.  Biggest PITA is running the wires into the driver's compartment.

			john i wonder if its the same for mine, i dont use a momentary button to activate mine, its purely off the toggle, and its not in a place that i could hit it by accident.
