For my next trick, I'll set myself on fire!

Wanna hear what happened to me today? Yup, another unstable adventure!
I got a call from the shop this morning that my Caddy was all ready to go. They replaced the muffler and tail pipe that fell off, as well as all hangers.
If you remember, this was after they had already replaced the whole exhaust system, and it fell off on my way to work. They towed the car back to the shop, gave me a rental, etc. Well, I go to the shop, drop off the rental with them, and leave in the Caddy. Well, I notice the car is still waaaaaay down on power, which was one of the orig issues with the car after I got it back form them the first time, I get home and call the shop and bitch to the manager. He asks me if I can bring the car back in, and I tell him I can, but only if they give me the rental back. The manager says "OK," so I head out to go back to the shop. I figured I'd take the long way out on the highway, so I can open the car up and see just how bad it is running. I hit 287, and I'm barely able to get the car up over 60 MPH. So, I get off the highway and start working my way back through town to get to the shop. Well, all of a sudden I smell rubber burning. And a guy in a truck pulls up next to me and yells over "Hey buddy, you CAR IS ON FIRE!"
So I quickly pull over into a parking lot, get out of the car, go to the back, and see flames shooting out from under the car! The rubber exhaust hanger for the muffler was burning, and I had no way to put out the fire. I grabbed a rag from the back seat of the car, and tried to beat the flames out, but that didn't work. So, I grabbed a jug of antifreeze I had in the car, wet down the rag with it, and used it to snuff out the flames. Then I drove slowly to the shop. When I got out of the car I saw the manager in the shop, so I yelled to him "Hey Clint, come 'mere! I got something to show you!" He walked over to the car, and I pointed at the down hanging exhaust. "What's wrong with this picture?" I asked. He just muttered "Oh f**k!" and looked under the car. I told him how the hanger caught on fire, and that there had to be some serious heat going through that exhaust to torch it up like that. We walked back into the service area, and when I noticed all the customers in there I started laughing hysterically, and got real loud, saying stuff like "not only was it bad when the car caught on fire, but on top of it the car is running like crap! It's idling so rough the whole steering wheel shakes! It's a dayum CADDY, you shouldn't even hear the engine run!" All the customers were looking at me, and the manager hurried up and got me the rental car keys, and walked me outside. Before I got in the rental car I told him "DO NOT call me until the Caddy is 100 % right! You better test drive it when you think it is "right," and make sure the exhaust isn't going to catch on fire and fall off again, the car better run smoothly, and it better be able to do more that 60 MPH!" Then I drove away. So, how was YOUR day!

Bob, when I saw the rental still in your driveway today, I should of only known. Good thing we had you on Winch duty today with the Lincoln. Maybe they should try locking the timing down
