fast 1992 dakota FS

ok, i JUST bought this truck. the previous owner had told me it would pass inspection, but it didnt. it passed the carbon monoxide test, but not the hydrocarbon test or the nitrous oxide test. this is probably because of the gutted catalytic converter. It would also need a new gas cap.

That said, i just need to get what i have paid for this truck so that i can find something that will pass inspection. i have a camaro that i put all my money into, and my DD simply cant take away from that. otherwise, i would most certainly keep this truck.

All that i'm doing is copying over the ad that the previous owner had up (on another board) seeing as i bought it less than a week ago.

The bad:
-Heater Core needs to be replaced. At the moment, I am bypassing it so it does not leak. Has an electric heater at this moment.
-Needs CV joint on driver side up front ($60 part) + easy installation.
-Drivers door lock is iffy. You have to play with it.
-Tag light is missing. Should still be wired for a light though.

Here are the specs/info...

Miles on the body: 166k
Miles on engine: 75k

Drivetrain specs:
-'95 5.2L V8 bottom end
-Mopar Performance R/T 5.9L V8 top end components
-Mopar Performance R/T cam
-Mopar Performance R/T heads
-True double roller timing chain
-K&N FIPK with "functional" '70 Dart Swinger ram air scoops
-Underdrive pulleys (not installed - including an alternator with the underdrive pulley)
-Nitrous Express Dodge EFI wet kit (Adjustable from 35-250 .. 100 shot injectors in there at the moment),
-Screamin' Demon Coil
-8mm Accel wires
-Accel spark plugs
-Accel cap & rotor
-46RH (A518) transmission from a '95 Dodge Ram 1500 with 75k miles on it, shifts awesome!
-Chrysler 8 1/4 rear with 3.91's and a Suregrip (posi-type)

Suspension:
-Belltech 3" front and 4" rear lowering kit
-KYB gas adjustable (automatic) shocks

Misc:
-Vortex muffler with turndown (sounds real NICE!)
-Extang bed cover
-Sylvania Silver Star headlights
-GT Grant chrome/black steering wheel
-Sir Michaels roll pan
-LED "Line Of Fire" light bar
-Super White reverse lights
-REAR tint (not sure what %) only
-American Racing "Neptune" 15x7" polished aluminum rims (they are in need of some TLC)
-Yokohama Avid S/T 255/60-R15 rears and 235/60-R15 fronts (Almost brand new up front, decent tread in the back .. not sure but I'd guess 15/32?)
-SSBC "Short Stop" Slotted Rotors w/ High Performance Pads
-6 foot "short bed"
*Stereo system is NOT included*

With a 100 shot it puts 307 hp / 390 lb. ft. torque to the ground. It ran a 12.7 @ 108 in the 1/4 on 150 shot, 13.1-13.3 with 100 shot, and 14.1-14.4 N/A. Spray runs on drag radials and N/A was with street tires.

Im asking $3,000. I just need to get what I have put into it.

open to trades (rims?), and at this point, realistic offers.

Why not just go down to the local midas and get a cat for like $200?

TTT. my parents dont want all our car space taken up by a truck that they cant drive! so if someone can pick it up in the next week, price will be very negotiable.

im open to trades... anything dependable and cheap to insure! i have some cash too..

I heard from a reliable source that if the tank is pretty low....and you run some denatured alcohol thru it (I forget the mix amount) it'll help get you thru as long as you're not GROSSLY over the limit of your 'stock' spec

If I didn't need to haul my 3 kids around in my Xploder...I'd swap...

yeah, it would be easy for me to make it legal... i would just have to register it with my school address in ohio, and they dont do emissions there. that would require driving it across the state though, and then dealing with all the paper work...

so right now i just want something with more than 2 seats!

Ok, this thing is back up for sale. im entertaining all reasonable offers at this point. im going to be home from the 13th-17th, so if someone wants to come look at it, just let me know. i will have a hard time turning down cash if someone waves it in front of my face.
