"When I was seventeen, my mother told me not to get a tattoo of Roy Orbison...but what mamma doesn't know won't hurt her."
Seriously, I've got a grizzly bear on the right shoulder and a rattlesnake wrapped around a katana (Samurai sword) on my left bicep. Sorry, don't have any pics. I would like to add the following: A bracelet of shamrocks and thorns under the grizzly (In memory of my Irish grandma, God rest her) and my kids' names (Ryan and Tyler) on my left forearm. But money's short when you're feeding a wife, two kids, a mortgage and a growing automotive habit.

when i was younger, i had thought about a couple. i had wanted a scorpion for one shoulder blade and a five-fingered dragon holding a pearl in the other. they both had significance for me: the scorpion because it's my astrological sign and the dragon because it's my chinese-astrological sign. i caught the best of both worlds.
if you are interested, there is information available on the types of dragons out there. the five-fingered dragon has significance, as does a dragon holding a pearl.
at the time i was dating a girl who was into tattoos, hence my interest. the dragon was going to have her name in the scales - clear enough so that if you went looking for it you could find it, but not bold enough as to detract from the tattoo. thankfully the relationship ended as did my interest in getting a tattoo.
i have drawn tattoos in the past, and a few people are wearing my art. it's not something i ever pursued, just something someone asked me to do because i can draw, and then word-of-mouth got others interested so i did a few pieces. i have never tattooed anyone, though, as my hand is not steady enough to be able to keep the lines clear and crisp. yes, i practiced on pigskin bought from the local butcher.
i guess i came pretty close to getting one, but i think i would have regretted it.

I have been debating on wether or not im gonna get the firebrid logo (phoenix) on my back....i want my full back taken up with it...ive been thinking about it for about 2 years now.
I know people are gonna give me a hard time about it but whatever. As of right now im gonna get it next year on my 20th birthday as a little treat for myself. Its more symbolic then just being my favorite car, theres alot more meaning behind it.
Any opinions on a tatoo like that?
