fuel filter on 85 buick
Does anybody know where I can find it? I don't want to buy the Haines manual cause I plan to sell the thing.... So where is it? Its got the 307 in it. Pictures would be sweeeell, but just where it is would be helpful.

It is probably in the carb fuel line inlet. Not too many places it can be.
Why change it if you are selling it?

yea i got the filter, i just forgot that it might be inline. now that i have it, i cant find where its supposed to go. got a pic of the shell or whatever the filter sits in? if i know what im looking for looks like, ill at least stand a fighting chance

take off the air filter and the fuel line that comes up from the pump attaches to the carb - with the engine cold remove it using a 5/8 wrench and holding the filter cavity with a 1 inch wrench than remove the filter holder with the one inch wrench NOTE the threads are very fine and easy to strip so care should be used when re installing the filter and make sure the tin end goes twards the carb not the line -- jz
