Yea, I can't wear Nike shoes - they are made too narrow for my feet. I usually rock some form of adidas crosstrainer or new balance 470s (when not wearing the jesus creepers).

Yep so as long as we're on the topic of shoes I'll bring it back to a manly area of the topic.

Heres my new kicks:

I was at feet first trying on new shoes cause my old ones are beat and my girlfriend just goes look and points with her mouth open. I walked out with a pair 5 mins later.

PS: running sucks

Right now I'm doing 2 miles in about 45 minutes, Im trying to get down to the army's slowest time for my age which is 20 minutes flat. I can do the minimum push ups, I'm not sure about the sit ups. But, I also have to cut alot of weight, and the scales haven't changed BUT my coach, and a few others have noticed a difference in my appearance. Im dreading going out and running right now because of the shoes.

But I think it might be because i have wide feet, So i cant wait to get a new pair!

the guys at teh running store will take the time to check hwo you walk and run and how your feet are shaped. they really know what they are doing and every employee is a runner themselves, so you aren't dealing with whatever smack showed up that day like at the mall.

good 4 you, I'm not running on a track I'm doing hills. I don't really care how well and fast some one else can run. I'm not pushing my self for obvious reasons, not trying to over do it, or injure my self, since hockey season starts soon.

its hurts to run because you're too fat, simple as that. Your obese body is not used to have such a shock (running), so it hurts. If i put on 150+ pounds on myself and went for a jog i would bet my legs, ankle, and anything else that absorbs the shock of running would hurt. Don't blame the shoe, blame yourself.

you're NOT running.

An average person walks 3 mph, that means it will take him 20 minutes to walk a mile. 2 miles will take 40 minutes, obviously. Are you saying that you run slower then an average walker?

Well Matt, why would you say it takes you 45 minutes to run two miles if you are including time to stretch and you aren't sure exactly how far you are running?
