question for those in law enforcement.

Does anyone know what the law is on selling bullets. I purchased a box of ammunition for my 9mm but they are russian bullets WOLF brand to be precise and the gun range I go to won't allow me to use them. Some BS about them being made inferior to US bullets and they cause guns to lock and one guy got hurt so they won't allow outside bullets anymore.

Can I sell these bullets or is that illegal?? If so what can I do to get rid of them?

Thanks.

according to my bro, the gun guy in the family.

you can sell ammo without any major issue. it would be in your best interest to sell to a licensed gun buyer(fire arms ID card from state or fed) to be sure to avoid any hassle.

he also says that WOLF is complete crap. lol

Wolf ammunition uses a low grade powder. Gene, you might be able to sell the ammo to a gun store.

ammo can only be traced if the original packaging is recovered with a lot number which can be run through manufacturers database then to what store and what credit card. always buy ammo with cash even if your all legit....

Ok, now that I know I won't go to jail for selling these does anyone know of a place that I can go. I can ask the guy at the bullet hole in Belleville, but he isn't the most friendly person in the world. I don't even know how much they are worth, but I have ALOT of them.

its' so easy to go to the gun range and just blow off a couple hundred rounds when you have 15 round clips

Very true I used to go through almost 1000 rounds when I used to practice for action shooting matches. Thats why I had to get a machine to reload. After the first few hundred rounds it payed for it self in savings.
