what motor the "466" with the 6+ trans? 72 mph is hauling ass for one of those trucks.
The people that work on some of the trucks in our fleet are towing companies. His company doesn't do that I assume?

cause its a heavy truck with a less then adequte drivetrain. I hate those truck combanations. Rider uses them in 90% of their box truck fleet and everyone I drove is a pig. Reliable though, how much punishment and raggidy some of the ones I drove, each one made it back home ..
He can try taking it somewhere and they can adjust it somewhat, but its not going to win any races....

Try searching around, and calling some of these places. If they can't do it they might know someone that knows someone.....
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&um...e-results&cd=1
you can also use "heavy truck repair" in the searches also.

find your Vehicle speed sensor cable and put a switch in between. that = no governor, but you wont know how fast youre going.

Its a diesel right? I've been doing some homework on making my diesel faster and I hear that if you retime the injector pump you can get a bit more power that way.
